So for various reasons beyond our control we were uprooted from Wellington to come and work for Logica Pty Ltd. in Sydney. We're nicely settled now, so we're starting to flesh out this page, and those under it. We live in Neutral Bay, which is on the north side of the harbour, not far from where the action is. And to keep our parents happy, here is a photo of us in our lounge. Australia Day is quite a celebration in Sydney, and here is a bit about what we did this year. The Harbour Bridge is one of the most recognisable things in Sydney, and we regularly travel across it. However, until recently we hadn't actually walked across it. It was a lovely day, so we did and took some pictures as we went. In September 2000 the Olympics happened in Sydney. We attended several events in the Games and accompanying Arts Festival. Here is our diary of this major event in Sydney's life. An excellent way to see Sydney is from the air. Martin had the opportunity to do this and the photos are here. |
